  • Temporary Permit: $25 per week.  Temporary parking permits may be issued in emergency situations, but only for one week and cannot be used in place of a parking permit.

  • Student Parking Guidelines

All students with valid permits must park in designated student lots only at all times (there are NO EXCEPTIONS):
Student approved parking lots are: 3, 4, 5, and levels P1 and P2 of the parking garage.

Your parking decal needs to be permanently affixed to the lower left (driver's) side of your windshield (on the inside).  Students are not authorized to park anywhere else on campus.

If you have a valid permit and bring or need a replacement vehicle (on campus), you must notify the parking office immediately.  They will issue a temporary pass at no charge for the time your replacement vehicle is on campus (for example, your car is in the shop being fixed).  Simply bring your HCID and vehicle registration to the parking office window located in the lower level of the Jo Rec Center.

Please note, first- and second-year students are not permitted to have vehicles on campus.  This is due to limited space; Your assistance in maintaining parking order is essential to the safety of our campus.

    Parking Citation Appeals:

The review process can take a few weeks - please be patient.  You will be notified with a decision once one has been rendered.

Appeals must be filed within 5 days of the citation date or they will be automatically denied.

A review panel will consider all circumstances for appeals; but please be professional and courteous.

Reminder:  1st and 2nd year students without a valid permit will not be granted appeals.

    ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

A maximum of 700 student parking permits are available. All sales are strictly first-come, first-served, and will end once this capacity is met.
