Through practical examples and real-world exercises, the Finance Immersion Workshop illustrates the fundamentals of popular valuation and financial modeling techniques used by finance practitioners such as discounted cash flows, comparable analysis, valuation techniques, etc.

Program Dates:

Monday - Wednesday, March 2 - 4, 2026 on campus

Deadline to apply and submit payment is Sunday, February 22, 2026 by 12 noon.

Important details:

Current first and second year students should consider taking the program as early as possible to align with the competitive and accelerated recruiting timeline.

Suggested prerequisites include at least one of the following: Excel Tutorial, Accounting 175 (Excel Finance Lab) or Accounting 185 (Excel Accounting Lab). Participants will need a computer with Microsoft Excel and the provided files/handouts.

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the program start date will incur a 100% charge. Withdrawal by the student when the program is in session will be considered a cancellation and incur a 100% charge.

Participation in Finance Immersion is required for the Certificate in Finance & Banking.

Cancellation:

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the program start date will incur a 100% charge. Transfer requests made less than 30 days prior to the program start date will incur an additional $200 charge. Withdrawal by the student when the program is in session will be considered a cancellation and incur a 100% charge.
