Through practical examples and real-world exercises, the Finance Immersion Workshop illustrates the fundamentals of popular valuation and financial modeling techniques used by finance practitioners such as discounted cash flows, comparable analysis, valuation techniques, etc.

Program Dates:

Monday - Wednesday, March 2 - 4, 2026 on campus

Deadline to apply and submit payment is Sunday, February 22, 2026 by 12 noon.

Important details:

Current first and second year students should consider taking the program as early as possible to align with the competitive and accelerated recruiting timeline.

Suggested prerequisites include at least one of the following: Excel Tutorial, Accounting 175 (Excel Finance Lab) or Accounting 185 (Excel Accounting Lab). Participants will need a computer with Microsoft Excel and the provided files/handouts.

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the program start date will incur a 100% charge. Withdrawal by the student when the program is in session will be considered a cancellation and incur a 100% charge.

Participation in Finance Immersion is required for the Certificate in Finance & Banking.

Finance Boot Camp Spring 2026

Description

Explore the institutional framework and career specializations of finance and banking by visiting top banks and investment companies in New York with alumni professionals as your mentors. You will learn how to leverage your liberal arts background for this competitive industry and convey your value proposition to future employers. Visit top banks on Wall Street, such as Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan, to learn about career opportunities and network with HC alumni.

Spring Break Program

Program Dates: Thursday - Friday, March 5 - 6, 2026 (Spring Break)

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start date will not be refunded. Withdrawal by the student within the 14 day timeframe or while the workshop is in session will be considered a cancellation and incur a 100% charge.

Preference will be given to first and second year students and/or participants in the Finance & Banking Certificate Program offered by the Ciocca Center.
